Job Overview: The position of Junior Youth and Citizen's Engagement in Anti-Corruption Consultant is designed to engage young people and citizens in anti-corruption initiatives within Lebanon. Duties and Responsibilities: The consultant will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to: conducting assessments of current youth engagement in anti-corruption initiatives; developing and implementing training programs for youth and community leaders; facilitating workshops and discussions to raise awareness about corruption and its impacts; collaborating with local organizations to create platforms for youth participation; designing communication strategies to promote anti-corruption messages; monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of engagement activities; providing recommendations for policy improvements based on feedback from youth participants; and preparing reports and presentations on findings and progress made during the consultancy period.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess strong analytical and communication skills, with a proven ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders. A solid understanding of anti-corruption frameworks and youth engagement strategies is essential. The consultant should demonstrate experience in project management and community mobilization, particularly in the context of governance and civic participation. Additionally, proficiency in using digital tools for communication and engagement is highly desirable. Candidates should also exhibit cultural sensitivity and adaptability to work in a complex socio-political environment.
Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in social sciences, political science, international relations, or a related field is required. A master's degree in a relevant discipline would be an advantage. Candidates should have a strong academic background that supports their understanding of governance, anti-corruption, and youth engagement.
Experience: The position requires at least 2-3 years of relevant experience in community engagement, project management, or a related field. Experience working with youth organizations or in anti-corruption initiatives is highly preferred. Candidates should have a track record of successfully implementing programs that involve youth participation and advocacy.
Languages: Fluency in Arabic and English is mandatory, as the consultant will be required to communicate effectively with local stakeholders and produce written reports in both languages. Additional Notes: The consultancy is expected to last for 100 working days spread over 20 weeks from the contract signature date.
