Duties and Responsibilities:
Interns will be expected to perform a variety of tasks, including but not limited to: assisting in the coordination of communications efforts within the BPPS; conducting research on relevant development topics; drafting content for social media, websites, and other communication channels; supporting the organization of events and workshops; collaborating with team members to gather inputs from various stakeholders; and contributing to the overall promotion of UNDP's work and its alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals. Interns will also be encouraged to bring their own ideas and perspectives to the table, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must meet specific eligibility criteria to apply for the internship. This includes being enrolled in a graduate program, being in the final year of an undergraduate program, or having recently graduated. Preferred fields of study include international relations, communications, journalism, or public information. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Educational Background:

Experience:
Candidates are expected to have some level of experience that demonstrates their ability to coordinate and collaborate with multiple stakeholders. While prior experience in an international setting or with organizations like the UN is desirable, it is not mandatory. Languages:

Additional Notes:
The internship is designed to last a minimum of 6 weeks and a maximum of 6 months. Interns will not be considered staff members and will not represent UNDP in any official capacity. The internship is unpaid, and candidates are responsible for their own travel, accommodation, and living expenses. Interns must provide proof of health insurance and are required to use their own laptops.
