Duties and Responsibilities: The Photographer (Consultant) will be responsible for the following duties:

Write concise, well-edited captions for all images, embedding them in the images and providing them separately in a Word document. Captions must include specific details such as location, names, ages of individuals, activities, and other relevant information.
Maintain cultural, gender, and sensitivity considerations in all photographic work, ensuring images are suitable for diverse audiences.
Ensure confidentiality and effective management of information flow throughout the assignment.
Obtain signed consent forms from children and/or guardians as per UNICEF guidelines.
Stay updated on photography trends, optimal framing, and photo quality for various social media platforms.
Conduct all work independently, adhering to professional standards and utilizing personal equipment.
Uphold UNICEF's standards on Child Safeguarding and adhere to imagery standards and specifications.
Required Qualifications: To qualify for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
A degree in communications, arts, media, visual art, photojournalism, or a related field, or internationally recognized photography certificates.
A minimum of five years of progressive experience as a photographer, preferably with international exposure.
A demonstrated portfolio showcasing high-quality photographs taken for reputable media agencies, international organizations, or development projects.
Previous experience with UNICEF and familiarity with its multimedia standards is advantageous.
A strong understanding of photography's role across various mediums and the ability to create content suitable for both traditional and social media platforms.
