Job Overview:
The Monitoring and Evaluation Analyst for Outreach Activities will play a crucial role in ensuring the visibility, coherence, and impact of communication and outreach activities under the project 'Support to European Integration of North Macedonia.' This project aims to support North Macedonia's EU accession negotiations and enhance the government's capacity to manage the integration process. The Analyst will be responsible for tracking outreach and grant-supported activities, coordinating with the Ministry for European Affairs (MEA) and partners, collecting and analyzing outreach data, and disseminating messages related to EU integration. The position requires a proactive approach to monitoring and assessing project progress, contributing to documentation of results, and ensuring effective communication strategies that foster transparency and public engagement in the EU accession process.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Analyst will lead the monitoring and assessment of the project's progress and performance, focusing on Result 4 outcomes. Responsibilities include documenting project results through reports, fact sheets, success stories, briefings, and media materials. The Analyst will design and conduct surveys, interviews, and other data collection methods to assess project results, produce analyses, and develop effective visual presentations of project performance. Additionally, the Analyst will contribute to the project's communication activities and ensure Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) mainstreaming in outreach planning and monitoring.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Public or Business Administration, Economics, Public Relations, Social or Development Studies, or a related field. A Master’s degree in a relevant discipline is considered an advantage. The position requires a minimum of two years of experience in implementing and/or monitoring community outreach activities, preferably within a UN system, international organization, or government institution. A proven track record of working on EU-related initiatives or outreach activities funded by SIDA or SDC is an asset, along with a strong understanding of North Macedonia’s EU integration process and institutional framework.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Public or Business Administration, Economics, Public Relations, Social or Development Studies. A Master’s degree in a related discipline will be viewed favorably and may enhance a candidate's application.

Experience:
The position requires at least two years of relevant work experience in the implementation and/or monitoring of community outreach activities. Experience within a UN system, international organization, or government institution is preferred. Candidates with a proven track record of working on EU-related initiatives or outreach activities funded by SIDA or SDC will have an advantage. A strong understanding of North Macedonia’s EU integration process and institutional framework is also beneficial.

Languages:
Fluency in Macedonian and English (speaking, reading, and writing) is mandatory for this position. Knowledge of Albanian is considered an asset and may enhance a candidate's profile.

Additional Notes:
The contract type for this position is a Local Individual Contractor Agreement (LICA) at level LICA 8 (ICS 8), with a duration of up to 60 working days within a one-year period.
