Job Overview:
The internship-position" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">internship position is situated within the Air Navigation Bureau (ANB) of ICAO, specifically in the Multidisciplinary Priorities Section (MDP). The intern will play a crucial role in supporting the organization of the ICAO Innovation Fair 2025, which includes outreach and promotional activities. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about aviation and innovation, providing them with an opportunity to contribute to significant projects while gaining valuable experience in a dynamic international environment. The intern will work closely with the Chief of MDP and will be involved in various tasks that enhance the visibility and impact of ICAO's innovation initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The intern's responsibilities will include assisting in the preparation of the ICAO Innovation Fair 2025 and related activities, designing visuals and outreach materials, updating ICAO's public website content, drafting scripts, speeches, and presentations, conducting research on innovation in aviation, preparing reports and meeting minutes, supporting coordination with stakeholders, and performing other related duties as assigned. This role requires a proactive approach and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams within the organization.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must have completed or be enrolled in a graduate degree program (second-level university degree or higher) in a relevant field such as aviation, aerospace engineering, marketing" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">digital marketing, or international affairs. For applicants from educational systems where higher education is not divided into undergraduate and graduate stages, a minimum of four years of full-time university studies is required. Additionally, candidates should possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this internship includes a graduate degree or enrollment in a graduate program in fields related to aviation, aerospace engineering, digital marketing, or international affairs. This educational foundation is essential for understanding the complexities of the aviation industry and contributing effectively to the projects undertaken by the MDP.

Experience:
While prior professional experience is not mandatory, any relevant internships or volunteer work in aviation, marketing, or project management will be considered an asset. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a keen interest in aviation and innovation, showcasing their ability to engage with complex topics and contribute to meaningful projects.

Languages:
Fluency in English is essential, with strong reading, writing, and speaking abilities required. Additionally, a working knowledge of a second language of the Organization, such as Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish, is desirable and will enhance the candidate's profile.

Additional Notes:
This internship is unpaid, and all costs related to travel, insurance, accommodation, and living expenses must be covered by the intern. The internship duration ranges from two to six months, with the expectation of a full-time commitment of five days a week. Interns are prohibited from engaging in any other form of employment within ICAO during their internship and cannot apply for or be appointed to any post in the Secretariat or contracted for any other remunerated employment with ICAO for six months following the end of their internship. Candidates may require a work permit to intern in Canada.
