Job Overview:
The internship-position" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">internship position is designed to assist the Geographic Manager, the Program Desk Referent, and the Accountability and Donor Development Officer in executing administrative tasks necessary for managing missions and programs in Haiti, Ukraine, Venezuela, and Mozambique. The intern will support the overall mission teams and gain insights into the functioning of an NGO, the relationship between headquarters and field operations, and the various programs and areas of expertise of Solidarites International. The internship aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the humanitarian context and geopolitical situations in the relevant areas, as well as the specific expectations of donors. The intern will also have the opportunity to engage directly with field personnel and learn about project management and funding cycles.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The intern will be responsible for updating monthly tools such as program sheets and operational maps. Under the supervision of the Program Manager and CRDB, the intern will ensure the follow-up of missions and field requests. They will participate in reviewing project proposals and reports for donors, providing critical feedback, and assisting in the revision of donor contracts and partnership agreements. The intern will also ensure compliance with reporting deadlines set by donors through project-related reporting schedules. Additionally, the intern will manage both paper and electronic archiving of mission-related documents, participate in various briefings and debriefings for expatriates going on missions, contribute to expatriate briefings, attend weekly and monthly Desk meetings, collaborate with other assistants to organize and tidy the network, maintain contact with missions in the absence of responsible personnel, translate various documents between English or Spanish and French, and contribute to specific programmatic or technical projects.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates should possess a higher education degree (level bac +5) preferably focused on project management and/or humanitarian work, political science, or international relations, with a preference for knowledge in water issues, food security, or rehabilitation. A genuine interest and motivation for the non-profit and humanitarian sector, along with a willingness to work in the field in the short term, are essential. Previous international work experience is appreciated. Candidates should have strong writing, synthesis, and spelling skills, as well as critical thinking and analytical abilities. They should demonstrate autonomy, rigor, responsiveness, organization, efficiency, and the capacity to work under pressure. Proficiency in computer applications such as Windows (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email (Outlook) is required.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a master's degree or equivalent (bac +5) in fields related to project management, humanitarian studies, political science, or international relations. Knowledge of issues related to water, food security, or rehabilitation is preferred, indicating a strong foundation in relevant subjects that align with the organization's mission.

Experience:
The position requires candidates to have some level of experience, preferably in international settings. While specific years of experience are not mandated, any previous work in humanitarian contexts or related fields will be considered an asset. The organization values practical experience that demonstrates the candidate's ability to engage with complex humanitarian issues and contribute effectively to the team's objectives.

Languages:
Fluency in French, English, and Spanish is mandatory for this position. Candidates should be able to communicate effectively in all three languages, both verbally and in writing. This multilingual capability is essential for interacting with diverse teams and stakeholders, as well as for translating documents as needed. Additional language skills may be considered a plus but are not required.

Additional Notes:
The internship is based at the headquarters of SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL in Clichy (92), accessible via the Mairie de Clichy metro station. The internship is subject to a mandatory internship agreement. The compensation for the internship is set at 5.60 euros per hour, calculated based on actual hours worked each month (approximately 154 hours per month, equating to 22 days of 7 hours each). Public transport costs will be reimbursed at 50% by SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL, and interns will receive meal vouchers worth 8.90 euros per day worked, with SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL contributing 60% of the cost.
