Duties and Responsibilities:
The Finance Manager will be tasked with a comprehensive set of responsibilities that include: conducting financial overviews and preparing monthly financial reports; implementing financial systems, routines, and procedures; monitoring budget control and cash flow; providing reports and analyses; performing account reconciliations; managing financial management routines and systems; developing and updating standard operating procedures; implementing anti-corruption policies; and overseeing line management and training for staff with financial responsibilities. The role also involves ensuring that financial practices align with NRC's mission and values, and that the organization maintains its reputation for integrity and accountability in financial matters.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates for the Finance Manager position must possess senior financial management experience, particularly in a humanitarian or recovery context. Proficiency in computer software and modern accounting systems is essential, along with experience in remote team management, supervision, and support. Exposure to start-up and/or exit scenarios, as well as experience in complex and volatile contexts, particularly with displacement-affected populations, is highly desirable. Familiarity with the Myanmar context and fluency in English, both written and verbal, are mandatory qualifications for this role. This position is based in Bangkok, Thailand, and is offered on a 12-month contract basis. The role may require approximately 20% travel. The Finance Manager will be classified at Grade 9 in NRC's Salary Scale, which includes a competitive compensation and benefits package.
