Job Overview: The Human Resources Associate position at WRI is a hybrid role that requires the employee to work in the Washington DC office for 8 days per month. The role is integral to the Global HR team, which is responsible for supporting the organization's strategic plan aimed at fostering an inclusive, equitable, and joyful workplace culture. The associate will report to the Director of Employee Relations and will be expected to integrate equity into their work while providing general support for various HR functions, including record-keeping, file maintenance, and HRIS entry. Duties and Responsibilities: The Human Resources Associate will have a diverse set of responsibilities, primarily focused on Employee Relations (60% of the role). This includes supporting the Employee Relations team in tracking and maintaining the flow of investigations from intake to final disposition using the Employee Relations tracking system. The associate will also be responsible for ensuring the timely implementation of Resolution Team decisions, maintaining the accuracy of Employee Relations data to promote internal transparency, and generating reports as required. Confidentiality is paramount, and the associate will need to develop a thorough understanding of WRI's Employee Relations policies and processes. Additionally, 25% of the role will involve liaising with other core functions to ensure compliance with internal processes and accurate data maintenance regarding Employer of Record placements globally. The associate will also support employee transfers across WRI offices, which constitutes 10% of the role, and perform other related duties as assigned, making up the remaining 5%.
Required Qualifications: Candidates for the Human Resources Associate position should possess a completed bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field, or equivalent years of full-time relevant work experience. A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is required, along with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
