Job Overview: The Senior Talent Acquisition Manager (Global) at CIMMYT will lead the organization's global recruitment efforts, focusing on innovative strategies to attract top-tier talent. This role involves collaborating with regional HR teams and leadership to align recruitment strategies with CIMMYT's mission and goals. The manager will oversee the entire recruitment process, from strategy development to candidate onboarding, ensuring a diverse and qualified talent pipeline. This position is crucial for shaping the workforce that will drive CIMMYT's mission to improve food security and build resilient agrifood systems worldwide.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Recruitment Strategy Development & Execution: Collaborate with managers to design and implement recruitment strategies aligned with organizational goals. Develop outreach strategies using various media and technologies to attract diverse candidates.
Talent Acquisition & Sourcing: Oversee global recruitment processes, ensuring best practices in candidate sourcing and selection. Manage the recruitment pipeline and maintain a strong talent pool.
Recruitment Systems & Process Optimization: Lead CIMMYT's recruitment systems and continuously improve processes for efficiency and effectiveness. Implement KPIs to track recruitment performance.
Stakeholder Management & Advisory: Serve as a strategic partner to hiring managers, providing expert advice on talent acquisition strategies. Foster relationships with external recruitment providers.
Team Leadership & Development: Lead and support a team of recruiters, ensuring high performance and professional development. Collaborate on workforce planning.
Employer Branding & Talent Engagement: Work with HR and Communications to enhance CIMMYT's employer brand and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess an M.A. in International HR Management, Business Administration, or a related field. They should have over 10 years of progressive experience in HR, specifically in recruitment and talent acquisition. Experience in developing recruitment strategies and managing global talent acquisition efforts in an international or non-profit context is essential. Candidates should also have expertise in using social media, AI recruitment tools, and data analytics to enhance recruitment processes.
Educational Background: A Master's degree in International HR Management, Business Administration, or a related field is required for this position. This educational background is crucial for understanding the complexities of global talent acquisition and organizational development.
Experience: The position requires a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in human resources, with a strong focus on recruitment and talent acquisition. Candidates should have a proven track record of developing and executing recruitment strategies in an international or non-profit context, showcasing their ability to manage global talent acquisition efforts effectively.
Languages: Proficiency in both English and Spanish is essential for this role, as the Senior Talent Acquisition Manager will be working in a bilingual environment. Strong communication skills in both languages are necessary to engage with diverse stakeholders and candidates effectively. Additional language skills may be considered an asset but are not mandatory.
