Duties and Responsibilities: Interns will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including data collection and analysis, conducting background research, drafting research materials and tools, supporting project formulation and implementation, and coordinating joint work items on social health protection. Additionally, interns may be assigned other tasks by their supervisors to support the team. It is expected that interns will devote 10% to 20% of their time to administrative tasks, ensuring that they gain a comprehensive understanding of the operational aspects of the ILO's work.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must be enrolled in a Master's or Doctorate program or have completed such a program within the past year in relevant fields such as social policy, health policies, health economics, public health, social protection, or other social science disciplines. Specialization in areas directly related to health and social protection is considered a plus. Applicants should demonstrate adaptability to an international and multicultural environment, possess strong communication skills, and be able to work effectively in teams.
Educational Background: The educational background required for this internship includes enrollment in or completion of a Master's degree or Doctorate in relevant subject areas. Candidates should have a strong foundation in social sciences, particularly in disciplines related to health and social protection. Experience: Experience in research work, such as a Master's thesis or a research assistant position, is highly desirable.
