Required Qualifications:
Candidates must meet several qualifications to be considered for the internship. They should not have any close relatives working at the ILO, must not have previously interned at the ILO, and must be enrolled in or have completed a Master's or Doctoral program within the past year. A practical knowledge of English, both oral and written, is mandatory. They should also demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this internship includes a first-level degree in economics or social sciences, human resource development, development studies, international relations, or a related field. Candidates must be enrolled in at least a Master's program or have completed such a program within the last year to be eligible for the internship.

Experience:
Relevant professional experience in the field of skills development, lifelong learning, communication, and a good understanding of social media and communication applications is preferred. Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is also necessary for this position.

Languages:
Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in at least one of the other official ILO languages (French or Spanish) would be considered an asset. This linguistic capability is essential for effective communication and collaboration within the international context of the ILO.

Additional Notes:
The internship is specifically reserved for candidates with disabilities. The duration of the internship is six months, and it is important to note that the ILO does not guarantee employment at the end of the internship. Interns will receive a monthly stipend of 2450 CHF, unless they are receiving funding from another institution. Additionally, a contribution towards medical insurance costs will be provided. Candidates from underrepresented or unrepresented member states may be eligible for financial assistance for travel expenses. It is crucial for applicants to submit their applications before the deadline, as late submissions will not be considered.
