Job Overview: The consultant will play a crucial role in analyzing and validating employment projections for women in Morocco, particularly in sectors such as care economy, sustainable tourism, and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). The position involves developing a robust methodology and monitoring framework to measure women's employment evolution from 2025 to 2030, following the operationalization of four innovative solutions aimed at enhancing women's employability and entrepreneurship. The consultant will report to the Programme CoordinationAnalyst at ONU Femmes Morocco and will be responsible for producing detailed reports and proposals that will inform strategic decisions and actions to increase women's employment in the targeted sectors.
Duties and Responsibilities: The consultant will be tasked with the following responsibilities:
Review, validate, or revise the initial roadmap projections for women's job creation.
Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the number of jobs generated through the solutions in the targeted sectors and the cumulative percentage of women's employment from 2025 to 203
Support the design of the results framework for the four economic empowerment solutions for women.
Produce forward-looking scenarios identifying potential challenges and mitigation measures to achieve the set objectives. Deliverables include an updated report on job projections for women and a validated proposal for indicators and monitoring framework, both due by specified dates in 2025.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Master's degree (Bac+5) in economics, statistics, social sciences, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in labor market analysis, statistical modeling, and/or employment policy evaluation is required. Experience in monitoring and evaluation of employment and economic empowerment programs, ideally with a gender dimension, is essential. Knowledge of economic dynamics and the labor market in Morocco is required, along with experience collaborating with public institutions, the private sector, and international organizations.
Educational Background: The educational requirement for this position is a Master's degree (Bac+5) in a relevant field such as economics, statistics, or social sciences. This advanced degree is crucial for understanding the complexities of labor market analysis and statistical modeling necessary for the role.
Experience: The position requires at least 5 years of relevant experience, particularly in labor market analysis, statistical modeling, and evaluation of employment policies. Candidates should have a proven track record in monitoring and evaluation of programs focused on employment and economic empowerment, with a strong emphasis on gender issues. Experience working with public institutions, private sector entities, and international organizations is also necessary.
