The internship is designed to enhance understanding of global labor issues while providing practical experience related to the intern's field of study. Interns will be involved in the application of ILO principles, programs, and strategies, contributing to significant projects and initiatives within the organization. The internship duration ranges from 3 to 6 months, with a start date on either the 1st or 15th of a month, allowing flexibility for candidates.

Additionally, proficiency in other official ILO languages such as French or Spanish, or another working language, is considered an advantage. This multilingual capability will enhance the intern's ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and contribute to the ILO's mission effectively.
Additional Notes: The internship is classified as an internship grade position, with a contract duration of 3 to 6 months. Interns will receive a stipend of 2450 CHF per month, which may be supplemented if the intern receives partial funding from another institution.
