Job Overview:
In this role, you will contribute significantly to the development and evolution of advanced physics analysis tools specifically designed for the Future Circular Collider (FCC) project. As a member of the EP-FCC physics software team, you will take on the responsibility for key software components that enable large-scale, distributed detector performance and physics analysis studies. Your work will be crucial in supporting the evaluation of the FCC's physics potential and optimizing detector designs, working closely with the international FCC community. This position requires a strong commitment to collaboration and innovation, as you will be enhancing the capabilities of the FCCAnalyses framework and integrating it into various computing solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Your primary responsibilities will include extending the capabilities of the FCCAnalyses framework, which is based on ROOT RDataFrame, to support multiple distributed computing solutions. You will also contribute to the development and maintenance of core FCCAnalyses components and ensure their integration into iLCDirac. Supporting large-scale detector performance and physics analysis studies in a distributed computing environment will be a key part of your role. Additionally, you will enhance, maintain, and support the integration of FCCAnalyses with web-based analysis platforms. Close collaboration with the Key4hep and ROOT development teams will be essential to ensure software coherence and sustainability. Furthermore, you will be responsible for producing clear and detailed technical documentation to facilitate the efficient adoption of the analysis tools by the wider FCC community.

Required Qualifications:
To qualify for this position, you must be a national of a CERN Member or Associate Member State. A professional background in Experimental Particle Physics or a related field is essential.
