Job Overview: The ICT Associate position at UNFPA involves providing essential ICT support to staff, ensuring the smooth operation of technology within the organization. Duties and Responsibilities: The ICT Associate will undertake a variety of duties, including:
Providing day-to-day ICT maintenance and support to staff, including setting up new computers, printers, and other devices.
Installing and configuring software applications required by staff, such as office software and security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security tools.
Reviewing the implementation of UNFPA ICT and digitalization policies in the country office.
Designing and developing an implementation plan for office automation projects, including transitioning to a paperless workflow.
Organizing training and learning sessions for staff members to enhance their ICT skills.
Contributing to the digitization of processes and improving the use of technology in the office.
Supporting the configuration of the country office's digital platform and assisting new users with data inputting and quality issues.
Providing technical support for the integration of digital solutions into program design and implementation.
Managing changes to the service scope to minimize disruption to operations. 1
Operating within appropriate controls for changes in the technology environment.

UN Volunteers in this role will receive a Monthly Volunteer Living Allowance (VLA) of R18 340.86, a one-time entry lump sum of $400 at the start of the assignment, medical insurance, life cover, and annual leave. Volunteers will also have access to various learning platforms and will receive a one-time exit lump sum at the end of their assignment.
