Job Overview:
The position of Apoyo Administrativo involves providing comprehensive administrative support to ensure the optimal and efficient functioning of operations related to the Witra Project, which focuses on economic transformation that is productive, ecological, and socially just. The role includes assisting in the daily management and execution of project needs, ensuring continuity and compliance with project objectives and results indicators. The individual will also support administrative activities related to seminars, training, and technical assistance within the framework of the project, contributing to the overall success of the initiative.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Social Affairs Officer and Administrative Assistant, the individual will carry out various activities related to the Witra Project. Responsibilities include providing administrative support to the team, managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and organizing logistics for travel and events related to technical assistance. The role also involves answering and directing phone calls, responding to emails, and managing incoming and outgoing mail. The individual will collaborate in preparing reports, presentations, and other materials as needed, maintain and update databases, records, and files, and assist in coordinating events, meetings, and conferences, both in-person and virtual. Additionally, the individual will support the management of office materials, equipment, and inventory control, and provide general administrative support to various departments as required. Other activities may be performed based on the needs of the project and division.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a technical high school diploma or higher in administrative and/or secretarial fields. Desirable experience includes familiarity with the United Nations system. Strong organizational and time management skills are essential, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Teams is required, as these tools are integral to the role.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a technical high school diploma or a higher qualification in administrative or secretarial studies. This educational foundation is crucial for performing the administrative tasks effectively and efficiently.

Experience:
The position requires at least one year of relevant work experience in an administrative role. This experience should ideally include exposure to the workings of international organizations or similar environments, which would provide valuable insights into the administrative processes and protocols necessary for the role.

Languages:
Fluency in both English and Spanish is required for this position, as these are the working languages of the United Nations and the specific regional office involved. Knowledge of French is also beneficial, as it is another working language of the UN, but not mandatory for this role.
