Duties and Responsibilities: The consultant will undertake the following duties and responsibilities:
Advise the Ministry of Cultures, Arts, and Heritage of Chile (MINCAP) on identifying sources for estimating government cultural expenditure, including analyzing budget classifiers and their correspondence with the Central Product Classification (CPC).
Provide guidance to MINCAP on estimating effective cultural consumption by households, focusing on non-profit institutions that serve households (ISFLSH) and the treatment of information from household surveys conducted in Chile.
Assist MINCAP in developing a work plan for measuring Chile's patrimonial account.
Participate remotely in technical meetings held under the CEPAL-MINCAP agreement.
Prepare progress reports detailing the work completed and any findings or recommendations made during the consultancy.
Required Qualifications: The consultant must possess a university degree in economics or statistics. A minimum of three years of professional experience in cultural statistics is required. The candidate should demonstrate strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently while also collaborating with various stakeholders.
Educational Background: A university degree in economics or statistics is mandatory for this position. This educational background is essential to ensure the consultant has the necessary knowledge and skills to analyze cultural expenditure and consumption effectively.
Experience: The position requires at least three years of relevant work experience in cultural statistics.
