Job Overview:
The position of Consultor para arquitecto de software de procesos involves providing consultancy services for the analysis and design of processes and requirements for the implementation of a pilot project aimed at integrating and interconnecting social information with prioritized administrative databases. This role is crucial in the context of the Social Information Exchange Mechanism (MIIS) in Peru. The consultant will be expected to engage in detailed analysis, design workflows, and ensure that the software architecture aligns with the project goals. Duties and Responsibilities:
The consultant will be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of existing processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and integration.
  • Design and document workflows that facilitate the interoperability of social information with administrative databases.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure that the software architecture meets the needs of the project.
  • Develop project plans and timelines, ensuring that deliverables are met within the specified timeframe.
  • Provide guidance and support in the implementation of agile methodologies and project management frameworks.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to project stakeholders.
  • Participate in workshops and training sessions to enhance the capacity of local teams in process analysis and software architecture.
  • Ensure compliance with UNDP procurement policies and procedures throughout the consultancy period.

Required Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
  • At least 8 years of general work experience in the public and/or private sector, demonstrating a solid understanding of software development processes.
  • A minimum of 4 years of specific experience in process analysis and design, systems analysis, project management, or information systems management.
  • Completion of courses or workshops in project management and/or agile methodologies is required.
  • Additional training related to process transformation or management systems is highly desirable.

Educational Background:
Candidates must have a minimum educational background of a Bachelor's degree in relevant fields such as Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Industrial Engineering. Advanced degrees or certifications in project management or related areas will be considered an asset, enhancing the candidate's profile for this consultancy role.

Experience:
The position requires a significant level of experience, specifically at least 8 years of general work experience in relevant sectors, with a focus on at least 4 years of specialized experience in areas such as process analysis, systems analysis, project management, or information systems. This experience should ideally be within the context of public sector projects, demonstrating the ability to navigate complex organizational structures and stakeholder environments.

Languages:
