Job Overview: The Consultant/PSA.SBS position is primarily focused on digital communication, which encompasses web, social media, and digital media communications. Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Consultant/PSA.SBS include:
Supporting the implementation and maintenance of FAO.org web pages, ensuring they are mobile-friendly and functional.
Contributing to the versioning and releases of the FAO Design System.
Assisting in digital campaigns by drafting strategies, overseeing content production, and creating content plans.
Producing multimedia content for digital channels, including infographics, videos, and animations.
Developing, reviewing, proofreading, and providing clearance for communication materials for FAO's web and social media channels.
Supporting the formulation of the corporate social media policy and influencer engagement strategy.
Conducting training sessions for staff on social media usage.
Ensuring compliance with FAO standards and guidelines in all communication materials.
Performing other duties as required to support the organization's communication efforts.
Required Qualifications: The minimum requirements for the position include:
At least 1 year of relevant experience for PSA or 2 years for Consultant in digital communication and content production for digital platforms.
Proficient working knowledge of English (level C).
Educational Background: Candidates must possess a university degree in a relevant field such as communication, social science, journalism, or political science. This educational background is essential for understanding the complexities of communication strategies and digital media.
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience for PSA positions or 2 years for Consultant roles in digital communication and content production.
