Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
Developing and implementing programs that align with UNFPA's strategic objectives, particularly in the areas of maternal health, family planning, and gender-based violence prevention.
Collaborating with local and international partners to enhance the effectiveness of programs and ensure that they meet the needs of the target populations.
Monitoring and evaluating program outcomes to assess effectiveness and make necessary adjustments to improve results.
Advocating for policies and practices that support reproductive health and rights at local, national, and international levels.
Engaging in capacity-building initiatives to empower local stakeholders and enhance their ability to deliver reproductive health services.
Ensuring compliance with UNFPA's ethical standards and guidelines in all program activities.
Reporting on program progress and outcomes to senior management and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a strong commitment to the values and mission of UNFPA, demonstrating integrity and a dedication to gender equality and diversity. They should have a proven track record of managing resources effectively and delivering results in challenging environments.
