Job Overview:
The UNV Radio Producer will work under the supervision of the Director of Strategic Communication and Public Information Division and the Chief Radio Unit. The role involves generating news and content for the mission's radio station, focusing on the activities of MINUSCA. The producer will be responsible for researching, writing, producing, and broadcasting radio and multimedia programs in French. This includes conducting interviews, gathering audio materials, and performing technical production tasks. The producer will also initiate new radio projects based on local realities and develop content across various domains such as politics, security, health, and social issues. Duties and Responsibilities:
The UNV Radio Producer will have a diverse set of responsibilities, including: researching, writing, producing, and broadcasting radio and multimedia news and feature programs in French; providing raw audio material for productions; conducting interviews and gathering multimedia content; performing audio editing and managing sound files; undertaking digital editing and recording; initiating new radio projects based on local realities; liaising with community radios and NGOs; contributing to program identities and music themes; assisting news broadcasters in preparing daily news programs; and editing news cuts and mixing documentaries and features. The role may also involve travel assignments as required.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess strong communication skills, with a focus on planning and organizing. Professionalism and the ability to work effectively in teams are essential. The role requires a proactive attitude and the ability to adapt to challenging working conditions.
