Duties and Responsibilities: The incumbent will be responsible for a variety of tasks under the supervision of the Chief of the ESCWA Communication and Information Unit (ECIU). Key duties include: managing ESCWA's social media platforms, developing and implementing a social media action plan, and overseeing the content management process. The Communications Assistant will prepare content in both English and Arabic, ensuring it is informative and visually appealing. Additionally, the role involves developing communication plans by assessing the needs of different clusters, enhancing brand awareness, and tailoring content for social media. The incumbent will also produce periodic social media reports, defining key performance indicators (KPIs) and measuring the success of campaigns. Conducting training sessions on social media usage, expanding ESCWA's network of friends and influencers, and maintaining relationships with them are also essential responsibilities.
