Job Overview:
The Senior Research Manager will play a crucial role in leading the RETAIN6 project, which focuses on developing differentiated models of care for patients in the first six months of HIV treatment. This position requires a senior-level manager with extensive experience in research strategy development, program management, and leadership. The manager will work closely with the Program Director and will be responsible for overseeing research ethics compliance, managing research and data teams, and collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure data availability and reliability. The role also involves mentoring junior staff, engaging with study sites, and contributing to the strategic goals of the project. The Senior Research Manager will be expected to implement and oversee various data and analytical activities, ensuring high-quality data handling and robust management practices.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead Research Strategy Development: Develop research strategies and identify critical questions that align with project mandates, focusing on innovative health interventions and outcomes.
• Ensure Ethical Compliance and Regulatory Adherence: Oversee compliance with research ethics requirements and regulatory guidelines.
• Supervise and Manage Research and Data Teams: Provide leadership in primary data collection and analysis.
