Job Overview:
The position of Ad Hoc Conference Services Assistants involves providing essential audio-visual technical support for meetings and conferences held at the United Nations Conference Centre (UNCC) in Bangkok during the year 202
  • The individual contractor will work under the overall supervision of the Chief of the Conference Management Unit, ensuring that all technical aspects of the meetings are handled efficiently and effectively. This role is crucial for the smooth operation of conferences, requiring timely execution of tasks throughout the meeting periods. The service fee for this position is THB 2,500 per day per person, reflecting the importance of the role in facilitating high-level discussions and events.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The primary duties and responsibilities of the Ad Hoc Conference Services Assistants include:
  • Providing audio-visual technical support during meetings and conferences, ensuring all equipment is installed and operational.
  • Assisting in the setup and breakdown of audio-visual equipment before and after events.
  • Operating audio-visual equipment during meetings, including microphones, projectors, and video conferencing tools.
  • Troubleshooting any technical issues that arise during the events to minimize disruptions.
  • Collaborating with other team members and stakeholders to ensure that all technical requirements are met for each conference.
  • Maintaining a high level of professionalism and responsiveness to the needs of conference participants.

Required Qualifications:
The required qualifications for this position include a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. Additionally, experience in servicing meetings organized by the United Nations or other organizations is desirable. Candidates should possess relevant secretariat or administrative experience, which would enhance their ability to perform the duties effectively. Educational Background:
