Duties and Responsibilities:
The Financial Analyst, AR will have a comprehensive set of duties and responsibilities, including: reviewing proposal budgets with a focus on CGIAR costing guidelines and donor regulations; ensuring timely preparation of donor billings and verifying the legitimacy of outstanding balances; uploading project budgets into the financial system based on inputs from the Project Management Unit (PMU); analyzing budget versus actuals and recommending solutions for discrepancies; responding to queries from project leaders and program financial managers regarding financial data; preparing accurate financial reports for submission to donors and other stakeholders; closing out project accounts upon project completion; summarizing financial review results for the Program Support Manager; and providing support for donor-specific audits as required.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates for the Financial Analyst, AR position must possess a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in business management, accounting, or administration. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate advanced proficiency in the MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
