Job Overview:
The role of the Chargé d'accompagnement is to work alongside the Fellowship team, acting as a key interface with Ashoka's French Fellows. The position involves daily interactions with Fellows and philanthropic mentors, diagnosing their needs related to the development of their organizations, such as funding, business models, communication, human resources, and social impact valuation. The Chargé d'accompagnement mobilizes resources from the network to propose solutions to the Fellows' challenges and organizes meetings such as workshops, lunches, and coaching sessions. They are responsible for following up on the support provided to each Fellow and their team, as well as tracking the engagement of the philanthropic mentor network. Additionally, the role includes developing and enhancing support offerings, capitalizing on and sharing content from the support provided to Fellows, and building and continuously improving relationships with Ashoka partners.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Daily interaction with Fellows and philanthropic mentors to assess their needs related to organizational development.
  • Mobilizing network resources (mentors, partners, other Fellows) to propose solutions to their challenges.
  • Organizing meetings such as workshops, lunches, and coaching sessions based on the needs identified.
  • Following up on the support provided to each Fellow and their team after diagnostics.
  • Tracking the engagement journey of the philanthropic mentor network.
  • Developing and/or enhancing support offerings, including capitalizing on and sharing content from the support provided to Fellows.
  • Building and continuously improving relationships with Ashoka partners and the support offerings provided to Fellows.
  • Writing newsletters for Fellows and their teams.
  • Contributing to organizing key network events, including bi-annual weekends gathering Fellows and mentors. 1
  • Identifying potential synergies and collaborations among Fellows within the Ashoka community and beyond.

Required Qualifications:
Minimum Bac +4 level education. Project management skills and experience in communication and event management. Enthusiasm for Ashoka's mission and the impact of its Fellows. Knowledge of the social entrepreneurship and innovation sector, along with an understanding of its challenges, is a plus. Experience in associations is also a plus. Skills required include teamwork, a collaborative spirit, listening and analytical abilities to understand diverse needs, organizational skills, and proactivity. Technical proficiency with computer tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is necessary, and familiarity with information management tools (Airtable) and newsletter platforms (Mailchimp, Dotdigital) is a plus. Fluency in French and English is required.

Educational Background:
A minimum educational background of Bac +4 is required for this position, indicating a higher education level, typically equivalent to a bachelor's degree or higher in relevant fields such as social sciences, management, or communications.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum level of experience that aligns with the responsibilities of project management and communication. Previous experience in social entrepreneurship, event management, or within an association is considered advantageous, as it demonstrates familiarity with the sector and the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders effectively.

Languages:
Fluency in French is mandatory, as the role involves daily communication with French-speaking Fellows and mentors. Proficiency in English is also required to engage with international partners and resources effectively. Additional language skills may be beneficial but are not specified as mandatory.

Additional Notes:
The position is based at Ashoka France, located in Montrouge, with occasional remote work allowed. The compensation is set at the legal minimum wage of €770 gross per month, supplemented by meal vouchers valued at €8 per working day and reimbursement of half the transportation costs. The position is set to begin in September and has a duration of 6 months.
