Job Overview: The Program Director for Implementation at Action Against Hunger in Haiti is a senior management position responsible for overseeing the implementation and delivery of country programs. This role requires a dynamic, energetic, and results-oriented individual who will manage day-to-day programmatic reporting, budget execution, and collaborate with various teams for program development and fundraising. The Program Director will ensure that programs are aligned with Action Against Hunger's global strategy and donor guidelines, while also addressing the needs of beneficiaries. Duties and Responsibilities: The Program Director will ensure compliance with Action Against Hunger policies and international standards for emergency response. Responsibilities include managing project scope, timelines, and budgets, overseeing the development of project implementation plans, and conducting regular field visits to assess activities. The Director will participate in monthly grants management meetings, review progress, and ensure timely preparation of high-quality project reports. They will also develop Emergency Preparedness and Response Plans, provide leadership to program and support teams, and represent Action Against Hunger in external meetings. Additionally, the Director will manage program finances, oversee procurement flows, and ensure compliance with policies related to fraud and corruption.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in political science, development studies, public health, or a related field. A postgraduate degree is considered an advantage. Applicants should have at least 10 years of relevant experience with an INGO, including senior management positions, and experience in at least one of Action Against Hunger's core technical sectors such as Nutrition and Health, WASH, or security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Food Security. Experience managing complex development projects for major donors like USAID and the European Commission is also required.

Experience: The position requires at least 10 years of related experience, specifically in senior management roles within international non-governmental organizations (INGOs).
