Job Overview: The Grants and Partnerships Coordinator will work under the supervision of the Deputy CountryDirector for Programmes, ensuring the quality and compliance of ongoing and pipeline programs and partnerships in alignment with both internal and external requirements for the Iraq and Yemen Country Offices. This role is crucial as it encompasses responsibilities across both countries, with a reporting line to the Deputy Country Directors in each office, while maintaining line management in Iraq. The coordinator will be responsible for designing program support, developing internal and external reporting documents, and ensuring adherence to reporting obligations for both Country Offices. Additionally, the role involves providing donor compliance support and facilitating effective communication and information sharing within the Country Offices. The position is expected to start on April 1, 2025.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure the quality and compliance of ongoing and pipeline programs and partnerships in accordance with internal and external requirements.
Design and support program development initiatives.
Elaborate and manage internal and external reporting documents, ensuring timely follow-up on reporting obligations for both Country Offices.
Provide donor compliance support to teams, ensuring that all activities align with donor requirements.
Coordinate efficient communication and information/document sharing within the Country Offices.
Manage partnerships effectively, ensuring that all partnerships are aligned with ACF’s mission and objectives.
Collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance program effectiveness and impact.
Monitor and evaluate program performance, making recommendations for improvements as necessary.
Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes related to program development and partnerships.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in political science, international relations, international development, or project management. A minimum of 6 years of experience in a humanitarian or development organization, or international NGOs is required, including at least 3 years in a similar position. Successful experience in project proposal writing, validation procedures, process coordination, and external communications with donors and partners is essential. Familiarity with the humanitarian project management cycle and the logical framework concept is necessary, along with a solid understanding of the rules and regulations of major donors. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments and possess excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written.
Educational Background: The position requires a Master’s degree in a relevant field such as political science, international relations, international development, or project management. This educational background is essential to ensure that the candidate has the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills to perform effectively in the role.
Experience: The ideal candidate should have at least 6 years of relevant experience within a humanitarian or development organization, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role. This experience should encompass various aspects of project management, donor relations, and partnership management, demonstrating a proven track record of success in these areas.
Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory, both oral and written. Proficiency in additional languages may be considered an asset, but English is the primary language required for this position.

The monthly gross salary ranges from 2597 to 2968 euros, depending on experience, and includes a 13th-month salary. Non-French citizens will have their pension insurance reimbursed at a rate of 16% of the gross monthly salary. An annual salary increase of 6% is provided after each 12 months of continuous contract. Monthly per diem and living allowances are offered, with amounts varying based on location (644$ for Iraq and 730$ for Yemen). Additional benefits include a monthly country allowance of 450 euros, child allowance of 1500 euros per year per child, coverage of transportation and accommodation costs, and comprehensive medical coverage. Employees are entitled to 25 days of paid leave per year, 20 RnR days, and reimbursement for airfare to a chosen break destination. ACF also provides support for career development and access to an e-learning platform.
