The accountant will also be responsible for researching and clearing any transactional discrepancies that may arise. Timely processing of field office expenditures is crucial, and the accountant will review field office expenditure reports for compliance. Additionally, the role includes handling weekly cash deposits and processing monthly deposit entries. The Staff Accountant II will provide audit assistance by retrieving necessary documents for auditors and will offer backup support in processing accounts payable transactions, wire transfers, and payroll functions when needed.
Required Qualifications: To qualify for the Staff Accountant II position, candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a closely related field, along with two years of relevant experience. Alternatively, candidates with an associate's degree and five years of relevant experience will also be considered. Strong attention to detail is essential, as is proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical skills and possess good oral and written communication abilities. The ability to consistently process a high volume of transactions is a critical requirement for this role.
