Job Overview:
The Juriste Droit Social position is designed for a legal professional specializing in social law. The candidate will be expected to analyze legal issues, draft legal documents, and represent clients in negotiations and court proceedings. The Juriste will also be involved in community outreach programs, educating the public about their rights and available legal resources. This role is crucial in advocating for vulnerable populations and ensuring that their legal needs are met effectively.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide legal advice and representation in matters of social law, including labor disputes and social security claims.
  • Draft and review legal documents, contracts, and agreements related to employment and social rights.
  • Conduct legal research to support case preparation and ensure compliance with current laws and regulations.
  • Represent clients in negotiations with employers and in court proceedings as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other legal professionals and organizations to enhance service delivery and advocacy efforts.
  • Participate in community outreach initiatives to educate individuals about their legal rights and available resources.
  • Monitor and analyze changes in legislation and case law to inform organizational practices and client advice.

Required Qualifications:
  • A law degree with a specialization in social law or a related field.
  • Admission to practice law in France.
  • Strong understanding of labor law, social security, and employment rights.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively to clients and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in legal research and writing.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Educational Background:
A minimum of a Master’s degree in Law, with a focus on social law, labor law, or a related discipline is required. Additional certifications or training in social law or legal advocacy will be considered an asset.

Experience:
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a legal role focused on social law or labor law is required. Experience in a non-profit or advocacy organization is preferred, as is experience in representing clients in legal proceedings.

Languages:
