Duties and Responsibilities: The intern will be responsible for a variety of tasks including: 1) Administrative Support: Managing the office calendar, scheduling meetings, preparing and editing documents, handling email correspondence, and maintaining organized files. 2) Communication: Coordinating internal communications, drafting and proofreading business correspondence. 3) Meeting Support: Preparing meeting agendas, taking minutes, arranging logistics for meetings. 4) Research and Analysis: Conducting research on various topics, summarizing findings, and providing recommendations. 5) Office Management: Maintaining office supplies and assisting in special projects as required. The intern will work under the guidance of the Country Coordinator, adhering to UNICEF's standards and procedures.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must be at least 18 years old and enrolled in a graduate degree program or have completed one within the past two years in relevant fields such as political sciences, social sciences, anthropology, or international relations. Strong academic performance is essential, and additional consideration will be given to past professional experience. Fluency in English and Italian is mandatory, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Educational Background: A degree in political sciences, social sciences, anthropology, international relations, social communication, or related fields is required. Candidates should demonstrate strong academic performance through recent university records.
Experience: The position requires candidates to have some level of professional experience, which may include internships or volunteer work in relevant fields. This experience should demonstrate the ability to handle responsibilities similar to those outlined in the job description.
