Job Overview: The position of National Technical Consultant for Data Compilation, Analysis, and Reporting is crucial for the HIV 'Search and Rescue' initiative. The consultant will be responsible for compiling and analyzing data related to HIV interventions and reporting findings to stakeholders. This role requires a deep understanding of data management and reporting processes, particularly in the context of health initiatives. The consultant will work closely with UNDP and other partners to ensure that data is accurately collected, analyzed, and reported in a timely manner. The assignment is expected to last for 10 working days, spanning from February to March 2025, and will involve collaboration with various teams to enhance the effectiveness of the HIV initiative.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Collect and compile data from various sources related to the HIV 'Search and Rescue' initiative.
Analyze the compiled data to identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement in HIV interventions.
Prepare comprehensive reports summarizing the findings of the data analysis.
Collaborate with UNDP and other stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and relevance.
Provide recommendations based on data analysis to enhance the effectiveness of the HIV initiative.
Ensure compliance with UNDP's data management and reporting standards.
Participate in meetings and discussions with stakeholders to present findings and recommendations.
Respond to any queries related to data compilation and reporting processes.
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience in data compilation, analysis, and reporting, particularly in health-related projects.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
Familiarity with data management software and tools.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Knowledge of HIV-related issues and interventions is an advantage.
Educational Background: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field is required. A Master's degree in a relevant discipline is preferred and may be considered an asset.
Experience: The candidate should have at least 3-5 years of relevant experience in data analysis and reporting, preferably within the health sector. Experience working with international organizations or NGOs is highly desirable.
Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory. Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage but not required. Proficiency in other languages may also be beneficial depending on the context of the work.
Additional Notes: This position is for a short-term consultancy with a contract duration of 10 working days. The consultant will be expected to work remotely or on-site as required. The position is open to both national and international candidates. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications, and benefits may include travel allowances if applicable.
