Job Overview: The position involves the procurement of three individual consultants who will be tasked with the administration of HR Data and Data Analytics. The consultants will be responsible for maintaining and developing analytical tools and software that support the HR Data needs of the organization. They will work closely with the Office of Human Resources (OHR) team lead to provide efficient support to country offices and clients regarding their HR Data requests. The role requires a commitment to delivering consistent and high-quality service, ensuring that all data-related tasks are handled effectively and in a timely manner. The consultants will also be expected to engage in continuous improvement of the analytical tools and processes to enhance service delivery.
Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the consultants include, but are not limited to:
Administering and managing HR Data, ensuring accuracy and consistency in data entry and reporting.
Developing and maintaining analytical tools and software that facilitate data analysis and reporting.
Collaborating with the OHR team lead to understand the data needs of country offices and clients.
Providing support and guidance to clients on HR Data-related inquiries and requests.
Ensuring high-quality service delivery by adhering to established standards and protocols.
Conducting regular reviews of data processes and tools to identify areas for improvement.
Preparing reports and presentations based on data analysis for stakeholders.
Engaging in training and capacity-building activities for staff on data management and analytics.
Required Qualifications: The required qualifications for this position include:
Proven experience in HR Data management and analytics.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Familiarity with UNDP's policies and procedures is an advantage.
Educational Background: Candidates should possess a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master's degree in a relevant discipline is preferred and may be considered an asset.
Experience: Candidates are expected to have a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in HR Data management, analytics, or a related field. Experience working with international organizations or in a multicultural environment is highly desirable.
Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory. Knowledge of additional languages, particularly those relevant to UNDP's operational areas, is considered an asset and may enhance a candidate's application.
Additional Notes: The position is a contract for a duration of 12 months, amounting to 261 days of service. It is a home-based role, allowing for flexibility in work location. The consultants will be engaged as individual contractors, and the application process requires submission through the UNDP supplier portal.
