Job Overview:
The consultancy aims to review the Essential Services Package (ESP) guidelines to enhance responses and strengthen referral mechanisms specifically for adolescent girls at risk of female genital mutilation (FGM) and child marriage. The consultant will assess the current ESP, which has been coordinated by UNFPA in Egypt since 2018 in collaboration with various ministries and UN agencies. The consultant will review existing laws and policies affecting adolescent girls' access to essential services and assess coordination mechanisms for effective service delivery. Engaging with stakeholders, including service providers and families, is crucial for gathering insights. The consultant will design a culturally sensitive response package that integrates protection, health, and legal services, develop implementation guidelines, and establish a monitoring and evaluation framework to track the effectiveness of the response package, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess an advanced degree in law, social sciences, or a related field, with additional coursework in Women/Gender Studies considered an asset. They should have at least 8 years of experience in preventing and responding to gender-based violence, particularly in relation to adolescent girls, child marriage, and female genital mutilation. Familiarity with the Essential Services Package and tools for preventing and responding to gender-based violence is essential. Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills are required to effectively convey findings and recommendations.

Educational Background:

Experience:
