Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan and organize nursing activities across various departments, including inpatient, outpatient, maternity, and nutrition services.
Define annual planning and budget for nursing activities.
Schedule duty rosters, shifts, and on-call duties for nursing staff.
Coordinate and supervise the implementation of legal therapeutic protocols and standards.
Provide technical support to ensure quality nursing care, patient confidentiality, and adherence to therapeutic rules.
Supervise nutritional activities to ensure compliance with quality and quantity standards.
Ensure correct usage of administrative procedures and documents.
Supervise pharmacy activities, including distribution, ordering, and stock management.
Coordinate with the biomedical service for appropriate use of medical devices. 1
Supervise laboratory outputs related to nursing activities. 1
Plan and supervise human resources processes for nursing staff, including recruitment, training, and evaluation. 1
Report relevant information linked to nursing activities to the line manager. 1
Organize and carry out care and treatments according to medical prescriptions, assisting during consultations, daily rounds, and other medical procedures. 1
Participate in health education of the patient and family when necessary.
Required Qualifications:
Essential nurse diploma; a nurse bachelor’s degree is desirable.
Specialization in tropical medicine is preferred.
Minimum of two years of work experience in nursing activities.
Experience with MSF or other NGOs in low-and-middle income countries is desirable.
Proficiency in the mission language; proficiency in the local work language is desirable.
Computer literacy (Word, Excel, Internet) is required.
Competency in people management and development.
Commitment to MSF principles.
