Job Overview:
The Human Resources Associate position at UNRWA involves providing comprehensive support in various HR functions throughout the employee lifecycle, from recruitment to staff separation. The role requires the management of HR services, including onboarding, contract management, payroll, staff development, performance management, and compliance with applicable regulations. The HR Associate will also be responsible for data entry and management in HR information systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with UNRWA policies. Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Human Resources Associate include:
  • Providing substantive support in managing HR functions from recruitment to staff separation, ensuring compliance with staff regulations and policies.
  • Entering and reviewing HR data in various information systems, monitoring discrepancies, and coordinating with staff for resolution.
  • Developing and maintaining HR databases and preparing statistical reports as required.

Required Qualifications:

Additional Notes:

  • Additional benefits include a monthly Provident Fund contribution, compulsory medical insurance, 30 days of annual leave, and a dependency allowance if applicable. Employees are entitled to two days of sick leave for each completed month of service, 14 weeks of maternity leave, and two weeks of paternity leave. The incumbent may be required to travel within the Area of Operations for duty purposes.
