Duties and Responsibilities:
Recruitment: Attract, shortlist, select, and appoint suitable candidates for mid-level positions, ensuring a smooth hiring process and integration of new employees into the organization.
Candidate Pipeline: Develop and maintain a pipeline of candidates for specialist and management roles, utilizing various talent attraction and engagement strategies.
Recruitment Campaigns: Collaborate in creating recruitment campaigns, identifying target candidate characteristics, and designing effective messaging and events.
Screening Applications: Conduct online research and telephone interviews to validate applications for senior management and executive roles, ensuring candidates meet key criteria.
Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion: Support the management of D, E, and I initiatives within the organization, providing professional services and leading by example to enhance D, E, and I practices.
Employee Engagement: Foster a motivating workplace culture by creating opportunities for employee connection and professional development.
Compliance and HR Operations: Execute HR operations in accordance with established protocols to meet performance standards.
Compensation & Benefits: Design and administer compensation and benefits packages, including salary setting and payroll management.
Performance Management: Develop policies for individual development planning and performance feedback to support employee growth and business needs. 1

Required Qualifications:
Proven experience in recruitment and talent acquisition, preferably in a non-profit or humanitarian context.
Strong understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion principles and practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Ability to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies and campaigns.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in using HR software and applicant tracking systems.
Knowledge of employment laws and regulations relevant to recruitment and HR operations.
Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required. A master's degree or professional certification in HR is preferred and may enhance the candidate's qualifications for the role.
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in recruitment and talent acquisition, with a demonstrated track record of successfully filling positions in a timely and cost-effective manner. Experience in a humanitarian or non-profit organization is highly desirable, as it provides valuable context for understanding the unique challenges and needs of the sector.
Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory, both written and spoken. Proficiency in additional languages, particularly French or Spanish, is considered a strong asset and may enhance communication with diverse populations and stakeholders.
