The organization operates in 26 countries with a total of 3,200 staff members, including expatriates, national employees, permanent staff at headquarters, and a few volunteers. Job Overview:
The position of Coordinateur Support involves overseeing the logistical activities of the mission to ensure the smooth implementation of SI's programs in Mali. The role requires the establishment of logistical procedures and tools, ensuring compliance and proper usage. The incumbent will serve as the focal point for logistics between the mission and headquarters. Additionally, the position encompasses directing and coordinating administrative, accounting, and financial services, ensuring the financial balance of the mission, and adhering to administrative procedures and local laws. The role also includes participating in defining the strategy for SI in the mission and drafting project proposals, as well as managing human resources effectively. The overall objective is to enhance the operational capacity of SI in Mali while navigating a volatile security context and fostering collaboration with local suppliers and service providers.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Coordinateur Support include:
  • Leading logistical activities to ensure the effective implementation of SI programs.
  • Establishing and enforcing logistical procedures and tools.
  • Acting as the main point of contact for logistics-related inquiries between the mission and headquarters.
  • Directing and coordinating administrative, accounting, and financial services.
  • Ensuring compliance with SI's human resources policies and local laws.
  • Maintaining financial balance and overseeing administrative procedures.
  • Participating in the strategic planning of SI's mission and drafting project proposals.
  • Updating human resources tracking and implementing new policies.

Required Qualifications:
The required qualifications for the position include:
  • A Master's degree in Finance, Human Resources, or Logistics Management.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in humanitarian work, with prior experience in a similar role considered an asset.
  • Strong technical skills in logistics management, financial management, accounting, and administration.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work autonomously.
  • A rigorous approach to work and strong organizational skills.

Educational Background:
Candidates must possess a Master's degree in Finance, Human Resources, or Logistics Management to qualify for this position. This educational background is essential for understanding the complexities of financial and logistical operations within a humanitarian context.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in the humanitarian sector. Candidates with prior experience in a similar role will have a competitive advantage. Languages:

  • The salary is competitive, starting at EUR 2860 gross per month, which includes a base salary and a 10% annual leave allowance paid monthly. Additionally, a monthly per diem of USD 550 is provided. SI covers housing costs and travel expenses between the expatriate's home country and the duty station. The organization implements a work and leave system, allowing for breaks every three months, with additional rest days accrued for each month worked. Expatriates are provided with comprehensive health insurance covering medical expenses, including dental and optical care, as well as necessary vaccinations and malaria treatment. Living conditions in Bamako are reported to be good, with access to various amenities and a comfortable living environment. However, security conditions are volatile, and travel outside Bamako is subject to restrictions based on the security context.
