Job Overview:
The internship-position" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">internship position is situated within the ESA Communication Department, which is part of the Director General's Services. The primary function of this department is to manage all corporate communications, both internal and external, for ESA. The intern will be tasked with supporting various communication activities, particularly focusing on outreach initiatives, communication support for member states, and enhancing ESA's social media presence. The role requires collaboration with different services within ESA, ensuring that all communication adheres to ESA's branding guidelines and effectively promotes the agency's programs and achievements to the public and stakeholders. The intern will gain valuable experience in the field of communication within a prestigious international organization, contributing to the promotion of space science and technology.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the planning and execution of communication activities aimed at raising awareness of ESA's programs and initiatives.
  • Support outreach activities directed at member states, ensuring effective communication and engagement.
  • Manage and enhance ESA's social media channels, creating content that aligns with the agency's communication strategy.
  • Collaborate with the ESA Member States Outreach Office and Public Relations Officer to ensure cohesive messaging and branding.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of communication strategies and outreach efforts.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving communication practices within the agency.
  • Ensure compliance with ESA branding guidelines in all communication materials.
  • Engage with various stakeholders to promote ESA's mission and activities.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must be university students, preferably in their final or second-to-last year of a Master's level course. They should demonstrate a strong interest in communication, public relations, or a related field. Additionally, candidates must remain enrolled at their university for the entire duration of the internship. A good understanding of communication strategies and tools is essential, along with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Educational Background:
The ideal candidate should be pursuing a degree in communication, public relations, marketing, or a related field. A Master's level education is preferred, and candidates should be in their final or second-to-last year of study. Relevant coursework or experience in communication strategies, media relations, or digital marketing will be advantageous.

Experience:
