Job Overview:
The Grant and Reporting Coordinator will work under the supervision of the Deputy Country Director for Programme. The primary responsibilities include supporting the development of donor reporting documents and ensuring compliance with the mission's reporting obligations. This role also involves maintaining relationships with donors and assisting in local fundraising efforts. The coordinator will contribute to the development and implementation of the mission strategy in collaboration with the Country Director, Deputy Country Directors, and Field Coordinators. A key aspect of this position is to proactively support Action contre la Faim's commitments to gender equality, child protection, and disability sensitivity. The position is set to start on February 1, 2025, and is crucial for ensuring that the organization meets its reporting and fundraising goals effectively.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Support the elaboration of donor reporting documents, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in submissions.
  • Maintain and enhance relationships with donors, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
  • Assist in local fundraising initiatives to secure additional resources for the mission.
  • Collaborate with the Country Director and Deputy Country Directors to develop and roll out the mission strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with the mission's reporting obligations in coordination with Field Coordinators.
  • Promote and uphold commitments to gender equality, child protection, and disability sensitivity within all activities.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members in project management and reporting processes.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive team environment.
  • Stay informed about best practices in fundraising and reporting within the humanitarian sector.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a technical background in WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene), Nutrition, Health, and/or Food Security and Livelihoods (FSL). A minimum of 6 years of experience in fundraising is required, along with proven experience in team management. Strong project management skills are essential, and familiarity with gender aspects in programming is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel is necessary, as well as excellent English writing and communication skills. Candidates should demonstrate rigor, precision, organizational skills, diplomacy, and flexibility in their work.

Educational Background:
A relevant degree in a field related to WASH, Nutrition, Health, or Food Security and Livelihoods is preferred. Additional certifications or training in project management or fundraising would be advantageous.

Experience:
The position requires at least 6 years of professional experience in fundraising, with a strong emphasis on team management and project management. Experience in the humanitarian sector is highly desirable, particularly in roles that involve donor relations and reporting.

Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory, particularly in writing and communication. Knowledge of additional languages may be considered an asset, especially if relevant to the regions where Action contre la Faim operates.

  • The monthly gross salary ranges from 2597 to 2968 euros, depending on experience, and includes a 13th-month salary. Non-French citizens will have their pension insurance reimbursed at 16% of the gross monthly salary. There is an annual salary increase of 6% after each 12 months of continuous contract. Additional benefits include a monthly per diem and living allowance of 668 euros net, a country allowance of 150 euros, and a child allowance of 1500 euros per year per child present in the country of origin (up to a maximum of 6000 euros per year). Transportation and accommodation costs will be covered, and medical coverage includes 100% coverage of social security, health insurance, and repatriation insurance fees. Employees are entitled to 25 days of paid leave per year, 20 rest and recuperation days, and airfare reimbursement for breaks.
