Duties and Responsibilities: The Digital Communications Contractor will have a range of responsibilities, including: assisting in the production of digital communication products while ensuring branding consistency; creating engaging content such as stories, blog posts, videos, and infographics; managing digital content on platforms like SharePoint and ECA Intranet; providing training on SharePoint to HRMS teams; running digital communication campaigns for HR events and services; designing HR assets using tools like Canva and Adobe Creative Suite; developing web pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; ensuring the accuracy and relevance of digital content; collaborating with cross-functional teams to create effective digital media strategies; monitoring website traffic and engagement metrics; and performing other duties as needed to support the HR department's communication efforts.
Required Qualifications: The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent as a minimum qualification. A first-level degree (Bachelor's Degree) in communications, public relations, marketing, graphic design, information and/or knowledge management, or related fields is desirable. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in digital communications, specifically focusing on internal HR communications, with proven experience in developing communication materials, assets, and plans across various platforms. Experience working with SharePoint sites, including managing, uploading, and sharing content, is considered an asset. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, Canva, video editing, and content management is also desirable. Strong writing and editing skills for digital platforms are essential for this role.
Educational Background: Candidates are required to have at least a High School Diploma or equivalent.
