Supply Planning Analyst

BUSINESS UNIT: GHSCO PSM - Global Supply Chain JOB LOCATION: Arlington, VA REPORTS TO: Manager, Plan Team General Summary The Supply Planning Analyst will be part of the USAID Global Health Supply Chain Program - Procurement and Supply Management (GHSC-PSM) project on the Global Supply Chain (GSC) team, and will work with GSC's Plan Team to manage orders for population & reproductive health and maternal & child health commodities and assist with other commodities as they move through the Regional Distribution Centers (RDCs). This will be accomplished by monitoring inventory, coordinating with procurement specialists and the Deliver/Return Team, developing replenishment needs for the RDCs and supplier forecasts, and working toward overall supply chain efficiencies to ensure on-time delivery. Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

• Leads planning of population & reproductive health and maternal & child health commodities, and assists with other health commodities as needed, to ensure on-time delivery and alignment with dynamic demand needs
• Develops replenishment needs for the Regional Distribution Centers and supplier forecasts on a monthly basis
• Coordinates, facilitates and supports cross-functional meetings to drive alignment/consensus on the end-to-end plans
• Leads the order management process out of Regional Distribution Centers to ensure on-time delivery to client countries
• Ensures compliance of the order execution to the regulatory needs of countries
• Controls and monitors inventory levels at the RDCs for accuracy, efficiency, consistency, and to ensure minimal to zero product wastage
• Liases with Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, and Deliver/Return teams to lead and facilitate cost saving initiatives, overall supply chain efficiencies
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as required. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum one year of experience in planning, warehousing, inventory management, procurement, or supply chain operations.
• Experience managing commodities for public sector health commodity.
• Experience working with USAID, or other donor agencies preferred
• Experience working in an ERP system, preferably managing inventory and/or procurement.
• Demonstrated ability to follow standard practices and procedures, receive general instructions and supervision on work progress, and make significant contribution to end results.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large data sets.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing.
• Able to multitask and manage time effectively, and work both independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated resourcefulness in problem solving and initiative to learn new skills.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly Excel required.
• Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
