Job Overview: The position of Coordinateur.trice RH involves leading and coordinating the human resources services of the mission. The individual in this role is responsible for ensuring compliance with Solidarités International's procedures, donor regulations, and local laws. They serve as the main point of contact for HR management issues between the headquarters and the mission. The HR team is currently being recruited and will be entirely new to SI, necessitating significant support and training to ensure effective operations. The role also involves restructuring the department in line with the ongoing separation between the base and coordination. The first few months will focus on establishing the department's structure and ensuring its effective functioning at both the base and coordination levels, implementing SI procedures, and enhancing the HR team's capabilities.
Duties and Responsibilities: The main duties and responsibilities of the Coordinateur.trice RH include:
Directing and coordinating all HR services for the mission.
Ensuring compliance with SI procedures, donor regulations, and local laws.
Acting as the HR reference for the mission and liaising with headquarters on HR management issues.
Supporting the recruitment and training of the new HR team.
Structuring the HR department and ensuring its efficient operation.
Implementing SI procedures and ensuring their understanding and adoption by the team.
Finalizing and implementing the annual action plan for 202
Completing the physical and electronic archiving of HR files. 1
Strengthening structured and effective social dialogue within the mission.
Required Qualifications: The required qualifications for the position include:
A university degree at BAC+4 level in Management or Human Resources.
A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in the humanitarian sector.
At least 3-4 years of experience in a similar position.
Proven experience as a coordinator or director of human resources in a humanitarian mission, with mandatory field experience.
Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Good knowledge and experience in human resources management, including the establishment of HR procedures and policies, labor market analysis, and HR strategy development.
Ability to analyze, interpret, and understand local legislation.
Proficiency in IT tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.). Familiarity with the payroll software Homère is a plus.
Educational Background: The educational background required for this position includes a university degree at BAC+4 level in Management or Human Resources. This level of education is essential to ensure that the candidate possesses the necessary theoretical knowledge and skills to effectively manage human resources in a complex humanitarian context.
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in the humanitarian sector, with at least 3-4 years in a similar HR role. This experience should include direct involvement in humanitarian missions, demonstrating the ability to navigate the unique challenges and dynamics of working in crisis-affected environments.
Languages: Fluency in French is mandatory as it is the working language of the organization. Proficiency in other languages may be considered an asset but is not explicitly required for this position.

The salary is competitive, starting from EUR 2840 gross per month, which includes a base salary and a 10% annual leave allowance paid monthly, along with a monthly per diem of USD 75
Solidarités International covers housing costs and travel expenses between the expatriate's home country and the duty station. A break system is in place, allowing for 7 working days off every three months, with additional rest days accrued monthly. Expatriates receive comprehensive health insurance covering medical expenses, including dental and ophthalmological care, and vaccinations. The living conditions include accommodation in a secure guest house with individual rooms, located 1 km from the office, and access to various amenities.
