Job Overview: The position of Consolideur & Controleur de gestion is situated within the financial management department at the headquarters of Handicap International. The role involves integrating into the Service Contrôle de gestion Siège et Associations Nationales (AN), which supports national associations and management in the financial, budgetary, and analytical oversight of their activities. This position is crucial for producing financial reports, consolidating data from the network, monitoring financial risks, and continuously improving management tools and processes. The future team consists of 8 collaborators (7 in Lyon, 1 in Luxembourg) and operates in an international context, interacting with entities in the United States and Germany. The main objectives of the role include ensuring the combination and analysis of accounting, financial, budgetary, and analytical information from various HI entities, guaranteeing the coherence and traceability of data to produce combined financial statements for governance, auditors, and stakeholders, and advising national associations on budgetary follow-up and risk analysis while supporting decision-making processes.
Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Consolideur & Controleur de gestion include:
Financial Production & Reliability: Ensure the coherence, reconciliation, and traceability of data to produce combined financial statements (CROD, CER) for governance, auditors, and stakeholders.
Management Control & Oversight: Monitor budgets, analyze variances and risks for a portfolio of national associations, and provide advice to managers in their decision-making processes.
Data & Systems Management: Oversee the quality of financial data and optimize the use of Business Intelligence tools and the Data Warehouse within the department.
Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure effective communication and understanding of financial processes.
Continuously seek improvements in reporting and data management processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Required Qualifications: The required qualifications for this position include:
A solid background in finance, accounting, management control, and consolidation.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with data visualization tools, preferably Power BI.
Strong ability to structure data, formalize management rules, automate reporting processes, and understand ERP environments, Data Warehousing, and data governance.
A rigorous and reliable approach to work, with excellent organizational skills and priority management.
Analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize information, simplify complex concepts, and propose continuous improvements focused on solutions.
Strong interpersonal skills, including pedagogy, active listening to business needs, and a collaborative spirit with diverse stakeholders.
Educational Background: Candidates must hold a Master's degree (Master 2) in finance, management control, or auditing. This educational background is essential to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the financial principles and practices necessary for the role.
Experience: The position requires a solid level of experience in finance and management control, ideally with a background in international organizations or NGOs. Candidates should demonstrate a proven track record of working in similar roles, showcasing their ability to manage financial data and reporting effectively.
Languages: Fluency in French is mandatory, while proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is also required. Knowledge of additional languages would be considered an asset but is not mandatory.
Additional Notes: This position is a permanent contract (CDI) with a starting salary of 30,000 euros gross per year.
