Job Overview:
The position of Consolideur & Controleur de gestion is situated within the financial management department at the headquarters of Handicap International. The role involves integrating into the Service Contrôle de gestion Siège and Associations Nationales (AN), which supports national associations and management in the financial, budgetary, and analytical oversight of their activities. This includes producing financial reports, consolidating data from the network, monitoring financial risks, and continuously improving management tools and processes. The team consists of 8 members, with 7 based in Lyon and 1 in Luxembourg, and the role involves international interactions, particularly with the United States and Germany. The main objectives of the position include ensuring the combination and analysis of accounting, financial, budgetary, and analytical information from various entities within the HI network, guaranteeing the coherence and traceability of data to produce combined financial statements for governance and stakeholders, and advising management on budgetary follow-up and risk analysis.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Consolideur & Controleur de gestion include:
  • Financial Production & Reliability: Ensure the coherence, reconciliation, and traceability of data to produce combined financial statements (CROD, CER) for governance, auditors, and stakeholders.
  • Management Control & Oversight: Monitor budgets, analyze variances and risks for a portfolio of management and national associations, while advising managers in their decision-making processes.
  • Data & Systems Management: Oversee the quality of financial data and optimize the use of Business Intelligence tools and the Data Warehouse within the department.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure effective communication and understanding of financial processes and reporting requirements.
  • Continuously seek improvements in financial reporting and management processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Required Qualifications:
The required qualifications for this position include a solid mastery of finance, accounting, management control, and consolidation. Candidates should have advanced proficiency in Excel and a data visualization tool (preferably Power BI). Additionally, candidates must possess the ability to structure data, formalize management rules, automate reporting, and understand ERP environments, Data Warehousing, and data governance. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively are essential. Candidates should also demonstrate analytical skills, the ability to synthesize information, and a proactive approach to proposing continuous improvements.

Educational Background:
Candidates must hold a Master's degree (Master 2) in finance, management control, or auditing. This educational background is crucial for understanding the complexities of financial management and reporting within an international NGO context.

Experience:
Candidates should have relevant experience in finance and management control, ideally within an international organization or NGO. Experience in financial reporting, data analysis, and the use of financial management tools is highly desirable. The role requires a strong understanding of financial processes and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.

Languages:
Fluency in French is required, and proficiency in English is mandatory (both written and oral). Knowledge of additional languages would be considered an asset but is not required.

This position is a permanent contract (CDI) with a starting salary of 30,000 euros gross per year.
