Job Overview: The HR Analyst position within the IFC's Human Resources (CHR) Department is designed to provide strategic partnership to the business, ensuring that the organization has the necessary skills, leadership pipeline, and insights to achieve growth and productivity gains in an increasingly AI-enabled environment. The Analyst will support organizational effectiveness, people analytics, and workforce planning initiatives, reporting to the Team Lead for these programs. The role requires a strong understanding of workforce planning processes and the ability to leverage data to inform HR programs and organizational decisions. The Analyst will also be involved in maintaining the organizational effectiveness framework and conducting assessments to improve work structure and delivery in alignment with business outcomes. This position is critical in ensuring that the HR Client Services can effectively apply organizational design methodologies and maintain current organizational data.
Duties and Responsibilities: The HR Analyst will be responsible for directly supporting organizational design and effectiveness initiatives, maintaining the OE Dashboard, and conducting organizational assessments to identify and address anomalies in span of control and influence. The Analyst will develop concepts and tools that enable HR Client Services to apply organizational design methodologies effectively. They will ensure that IFC's organizational structure and related data are current and accessible, staying informed of changes and providing guidance on optimal team structures. The role involves preparing and analyzing organizational-level data, including financial and non-financial metrics, to support HR programs and policies. The Analyst will coordinate closely with various HR functions to ensure alignment of deliverables and provide data-driven insights to HR Business Partners during organizational restructurings. Additionally, the Analyst will support workforce planning efforts, conduct workforce analyses, and manage integrity reporting and contingency pool management.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Master's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Statistics, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a global organization. Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience is acceptable. A good working knowledge of AI tools, including large language models and Microsoft Copilot, is essential, along with demonstrated experience in organizational effectiveness, HR analytics, and workforce analysis. Strong analytical and research capabilities are required, including data mining and report generation, as well as proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office applications, particularly advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
Educational Background: The educational background required for this position includes a Master's degree in relevant fields such as Business Administration, Human Resources, Statistics, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related area. Candidates with a Bachelor's degree are also considered if they have sufficient relevant experience. The emphasis is on having a strong analytical foundation and familiarity with AI tools and HR analytics.
