Job Overview:
The Senior Assistant for Project Management Support (Chemistry) will assist the interdisciplinary team in the proper implementation of the project by supporting the organization of working documents, systematization of inputs, and monitoring the development of activities. This role is crucial in ensuring that the project against drug trafficking in Neuquén Province is effectively managed and that the technical and institutional capacities of the provincial Ministry of Security are strengthened. The assistant will be involved in various aspects of project management, including logistical support, documentation, and coordination of training activities.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Senior Assistant will be responsible for supporting the technical-chemical team and producing documents related to drug control, including organizing and systematizing technical documents, specialized inputs, reports, presentations, and matrices. They will contribute to the organization and maintenance of updated documents, assist in the logistics of training sessions, and support activities aimed at strengthening the provincial forensic laboratory's capabilities. The assistant will also help with the identification and analysis of substances, maintain updated databases, prepare reports, and support institutional coordination with various stakeholders, including the provincial Ministry of Security and law enforcement agencies.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must have completed secondary education or equivalent, with at least 5 years of relevant experience in regulatory oversight, technical auditing, laboratory analysis, or related fields. A university degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Forensic Sciences, Toxicology, or related areas is required, along with at least 1 year of relevant experience. Additional technical training or certifications in applied chemistry, instrumental analysis, toxicology, or regulatory matters is desirable.

Educational Background:
The position requires a completed secondary education or equivalent, along with a university degree in a relevant field such as Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Forensic Sciences. Candidates should also have at least 5 years of relevant experience in areas related to drug control and analysis. Additional certifications in specialized areas of chemistry or toxicology are considered an asset.

Experience:
Relevant experience in project support related to regulatory oversight, technical auditing, or control of chemical substances is required. Candidates should have experience in organizing and systematizing technical reports and documents, as well as supporting training activities and institutional coordination. Familiarity with productivity software, including Microsoft Office, is essential, and experience with analytical techniques and laboratory equipment is desirable.

Languages:
Fluency in Spanish is mandatory, while basic proficiency in English is desirable. Candidates should be able to communicate effectively in both languages, with a strong emphasis on Spanish for technical documentation and reporting.
