Job Overview: The position is integrated into the Head Office and National Associations Management Control Service, which supports national directors and associations in the financial, budgetary, and analytical management of their activities. This service is responsible for producing financial reports, consolidating network data, monitoring financial risks, and continuously improving management tools and processes. The future team consists of 8 collaborators (7 in Lyon, 1 in Luxembourg) and operates in an international context with stimulating interactions with the United States and Germany. The role encompasses two complementary dimensions: the valuation and reliability of financial data, and the financial management of a portfolio primarily including the UK National Association. The objective is to structure, ensure the reliability of, analyze, and provide useful data for management while ensuring budgetary, financial, and risk monitoring of the assigned scope. The position transforms business needs into actionable indicators and dashboards, supports budget managers, and contributes to the continuous improvement of financial processes and information systems. Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of this position include:
Valuing and ensuring the reliability of financial data.
Managing financial oversight of a portfolio, primarily the UK National Association.
Structuring and analyzing data to provide useful insights for decision-making.
Monitoring budgetary and financial performance, including risk assessment.
Producing and automating financial reports and dashboards.
Collaborating with budget managers to enhance financial processes.
Engaging with various stakeholders to understand their needs and provide tailored financial insights.
Continuously improving financial tools and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Familiarity with ERP systems, Data Warehousing, and data governance.
Knowledge of Navision, Workday, SQL, or equivalent tools is a plus.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize and propose continuous improvements.
Educational Background: Candidates should possess a degree from a business school, engineering school, or hold a Master’s degree in management/finance. This educational background is essential to ensure a solid understanding of financial principles and practices necessary for the role.
Experience: Candidates should have a solid and confirmed practice in data analysis, management control, financial reporting, or a hybrid finance/data function. A first experience or regular interactions with a governing body such as a board of directors would be an advantage, indicating a level of familiarity with organizational governance and decision-making processes.
Languages: Fluency in French is required, and proficiency in English is mandatory (both written and oral) due to the international scope of the role, particularly with the UK National Association. Knowledge of additional languages may be beneficial but is not mandatory.
Additional Notes: This position is a permanent contract (CDI) with a starting salary of 30,000 euros gross per year.
