Job Overview:
The E T Temporary position at the World Bank in Djibouti is designed for individuals looking to contribute to the organization's mission of addressing development challenges. The role involves a variety of administrative and resource management tasks that support the Global Practices (GPs) and ensure efficient operations within the office. The ETT will be responsible for liaising with vendors, managing resource usage, and providing logistical support for missions and meetings. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in facilitating communication and coordination among team members and external stakeholders, thereby contributing to the overall success of the World Bank's initiatives in the region.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Extended Term Temporary (ETT) will perform a range of functions, including but not limited to: serving as the primary liaison for vendors and assisting them with inquiries related to payments; facilitating the identification of accrual amounts and ensuring timely follow-up with vendors for invoice submissions; supporting the creation of purchase orders and vendor registration; documenting relevant supporting elements for resource management monitoring; monitoring and reporting on resource usage; coordinating with various Global Practices and team members to ensure efficient use of charge codes and supporting documents; liaising with the Resource Management team based in Cairo and other relevant units to ensure satisfactory scorecards; assisting Global Practices with administrative, mission, and logistical support; handling mission planning and preparation; scheduling and coordinating meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements with external stakeholders; preparing and distributing meeting agendas, minutes, and other relevant documents; maintaining and organizing files, records, and documentation; supporting Global Practices in their day-to-day activities during missions; offering administrative support in facilities, administration, procurement, and finance as needed; assisting with recruitment processes and coordinating logistics for high-level visits; and providing backup support to the program assistant in their absence.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. Proven experience in resource management and administrative support is essential. Strong organizational and multitasking skills are required, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software is necessary. Fluency in English is mandatory, and proficiency in French is preferred, as it will enhance communication within the diverse team and with stakeholders.

Educational Background:
The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. This educational background provides the foundational knowledge necessary for effective resource management and administrative support, which are critical components of the role.

Experience:
Candidates should have proven experience in resource management and administrative support.
