Job Overview:
The TVET Instructor (Arabic) position at UNRWA involves a multifaceted role focused on the design, development, and delivery of vocational education and training programs. The instructor will be responsible for creating learning programs and curricula tailored to the needs of Palestine refugees, ensuring that these programs are relevant and effective in preparing trainees for the labor market. Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the TVET Instructor (Arabic) include:

• Supporting the design and development of learning programs and curricula, including conducting occupational and competency analyses, drafting program profiles, and integrating new technologies into the curriculum.
• Facilitating the delivery of school-based and work-based learning programs, which involves preparing training venues, managing learning environments, and employing adult learning strategies.
• Designing and implementing student assessments, including formative and summative evaluations, and developing inclusive assessment plans.
• Building relationships with employers and industry stakeholders to gather labor market information and support skills needs assessments.
• Applying quality assurance tools and processes in accordance with UNRWA's TVET Quality Assurance Framework.
• Supporting greening and digitalization initiatives by designing and implementing relevant training programs.
• Collaborating with colleagues to coordinate teaching and learning processes, maintain discipline, and implement Occupational Health and Safety measures.
• Performing additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a university degree of four years from an accredited educational institution, with a major specialization in Arabic Literature. While no specific work experience is required for this position, candidates should indicate any relevant outside activities or involvements that demonstrate their engagement in the field. Additional Notes:
The contract for this position is a daily paid assignment for a duration of up to three months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and funding availability. The daily rate for this position is $29.17, and the salary may be adjusted based on the work schedule. Additional benefits include one day of annual leave and one day of sick leave for each completed month of service. The vacancy is open to both internal and external candidates, but only those residing in Syria and authorized to work in the country at the time of application are eligible. UNRWA will not facilitate work permits, and candidates must have valid authorization to work in Syria.
